Některá lůžka však zanikla. V nemocnici v Novém Městě byla zrušena lůžková část infekčního oddělení, zůstala jen ambulance. Pacienti budou hospitalizováni například v Jihlavě, kde byla naopak kapacita infekčního oddělení navýšena a navíc disponuje i jednotkou intenzivní péče.
