Rodina hledala způsob, jak mu zajistit pokojný odchod v domácím prostředí. Oslovila Domácí hospic Vysočina, s jehož pomocí doprovodila tatínka do cíle. Když Anna později zjistila, že organizace hledá posily, neváhala a začala v hospici pracovat. Nyní je na pozici vrchní sestry. Koordinuje práci sester, komunikuje s lékaři hospice, nemocnice i s praktiky, komunikuje se zájemci o hospicovou péči, jezdí k pacientům.
