Na rostlinách je možné v rámci vědeckého experimentu současně sledovat dopady změn koncentrace oxidu uhličitého, ultrafialového záření, sucha a výživy. Stanice v Domanínku byla vybudována díky evropským dotacím, náklady na ni činily více než dvanáct milionů korun. Sloužit má přibližně dvě desítky let.
