Připomíná 30. výročí otevření nové budovy Knihovny M. J. Sychry, tehdy ještě okresní knihovny, ke kterému došlo 15. října 1987. Tehdy nová budova byla postavena přímo pro svůj účel a zohledňovala jak potřeby knihovníků, tak i čtenářů.
